Sashroyi is a book marketplace designed to make learning more affordable and accessible. Customers can discover, buy and sell new and second-hand academic books, guides, test papers, admission preparation books, university books and other learning materials.
Sashroyi also provides a free digital library for educational reading resources.
What does Sashroyi mean?
Sashroyi is inspired by the Bengali word “সাশ্রয়ী”, meaning economical or affordable. Our aim is to make books and learning resources more accessible.
Who can use Sashroyi?
Students, readers, book buyers and sellers can use the platform, subject to the applicable account and usage requirements.
Is Sashroyi available throughout Bangladesh?
Sashroyi is initially focused on Bangladesh. Delivery availability depends on the courier services and destinations supported at the time of ordering.
Buying Books
How can I buy a book?

- Add the book to your cart.
- Complete the checkout process.
- Select an available payment method and submit your order.
Does Sashroyi sell new and used books?
Yes. The marketplace is intended to support both new and second-hand books. The condition of each book should be stated in its listing.
How do I know the condition of a second-hand book?
Read the seller's description and review available photographs before placing an order. Contact support if important information is missing.
Can I cancel an order?
Cancellation requests are reviewed according to the order's current status and applicable cancellation rules. Contact support as soon as possible.
Can I return a book?
Return requests are reviewed individually. Approval depends on the circumstances, including the condition of the book received and whether it matches the listing description.
What should I do if I receive the wrong or damaged book?
Contact Sashroyi support with your order details and relevant photographs. The case will be reviewed.

Online payment is not available yet. When it is introduced, transactions will be processed by the payment provider shown at checkout. Customers should follow the payment provider's instructions and never share passwords, PINs or OTPs with anyone.
What happens if payment succeeds but my order is not updated?

Is the Sashroyi Digital Library free?
Yes. The Digital Library is free to browse. It currently provides catalogue information about textbooks.
Can I download digital books?
Not at present. Digital copies are not available for download.
Can I redistribute downloaded PDFs?
Users must respect the copyright and usage conditions of each resource. Free access does not automatically mean permission to redistribute or commercially reuse a file.
Can I upload educational PDFs?
Only resources that the uploader owns or is authorized to distribute should be submitted.
